Welcome to the Ranch
Family-Owned Business
Hello! We are so glad you took the time to be here! We are the Brown Family- fourth generation Rambouillet and Targhee sheep ranchers in northern Colorado. Along with raising sheep, we also farm hay for ourselves and our neighboring ranchers as well as share a little of our life with you through our country store.
Our mission here at Ewe and Me Farms is to raise wholesome livestock with the utmost respect and transparency. We want to bring awareness about ranching as well as share our passion of raising livestock with you.
Whether you are here to learn more about this life, hear about upcoming events, or shop our store we are so glad you are here! Thank you for supporting our dream and allowing us to share our journey.
ABOUT EWE & ME FARMS
Tom and I met in high school and have been together ever since. We have been through it all from high school dances, long distance in college, marriage, remodeling an old farm house, raising two boys, and starting our own businesses.

Tom’s great- great grandparents homesteaded in Manville, WY and ran sheep and cattle, this lifestyle was soon taken over by the following generations. Our Junior year of college Tom asked how I would feel about diving into sheep ranching. That year, we bought our little farm in Northern Colorado and had our first 36 ewes. Ever since, we decided turning back was not an option for us. Our herd grew through the years as well as our knowledge of livestock and the love of this lifestyle. We now get to share this life with our two sons, Emery and Walter, and could not imagine raising them any other way.

Farming
Alfalfa Hay is one of our primary food sources during the winter months. We feed out roughly 31,000 pounds of hay during the 4 months the sheep are home in Colorado. Because of this, we are very fortunate to be able to farm our own hay as well as sell it to our neighbors. As well as Alfalfa, we also plant peas, turnips, and mixed greens for our sheep to pasture on during their time here at home. We use 3 different types of irrigation systems to water our crops.
